Statistics show that children who live absent from their biological father are more likely to be poor, to use drugs, to experience educational, health, emotional and behavioral problems, and to engage in criminal behavior than their peers who live with their married, biological or adoptive parents. Fatherless homes produce: 63% youth suicides, 90% of homeless and runaways, 80% of rapists, 71% of high school dropouts, 80% of all youths in prison.
We want to use our 28 years of local and international experience to expand and bring life transformation into the lives as many of these fatherless youth as we possibly can. Our ministry goal is to ultimately establish 800 chapter affiliates, most in areas where Young Eagles youth aviation programs are located. We have begun our website upgrading and re-construction to accommodate and track this growth.
Our free program is provided through volunteer mentoring and a variety of outdoor activities including camping, boating, fishing and field trips. We are now including an introduction to aviation and drone training. There are pilots, mechanics and instructors who will make excellent mentors, while educating and inspiring youth to consider becoming part of the aviation industry.
We hope you will consider joining us in providing this life-transformation network, connecting youth-at-risk with mentors, both of whom will discover passion and purpose by being connected to each other.
